Using the tool
SeatSolver is free to use, for private events and commercial ones alike. The charts, place cards and lists you produce are yours; nothing here claims any rights in them or in the guest list you started from.
No warranty
The tool is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. It tells you when it could not satisfy a rule and when it could not seat someone, and those messages are the part you should read before printing. Check the chart before the night: the seating of real people at a real event is your responsibility, not the software's.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any loss arising from use of this site, including a chart that turned out to be wrong.
What we store
Nothing, on our side. Your guest list is held in your own browser's local storage so that closing the tab does not lose your work, and clearing your browser data for this site removes it. There is no account to delete and no export of your data to request, because there is no copy of it anywhere but your own machine. Theprivacy page sets this out in full.
The exports
The PDFs and CSV files this tool produces carry a small "Made with SeatSolver" line in the page footer of the chart, the escort list and the floor plan. It is not on the place cards themselves and it is not a watermark over your content. You are free to remove it, and free to use everything you export commercially.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site to break the law, and do not try to interfere with its availability for other people. There is nothing else to misuse: there are no accounts and no stored data.
